What is Endometriosis? Endometriosis is a condition where the endometrial tissue, which usually lines the inside of the uterus, grows outside of the uterus. This can lead to various symptoms, including painful periods, chronic pelvic pain, and infertility. While endometriosis is commonly associated with adult women, it can also affect adolescents. This article will discuss the causes, symptoms, and treatment options for endometriosis in adolescents. Causes of Endometriosis in Adolescents The exact cause of endometriosis is not yet fully understood.
